PASSION FOR THE PRAIRIE: A WOMEN’S FIELD DAY EVENT

Are you interested in the history of the prairie land in Chippewa County? Do you wonder about the importance of native grasses and the programs available for them? Do you know how to maintain them?

Come and hear about our prairie from Minnesota DNR Wildlife Area Supervisor Walt Gessler as well as USDA employees Shantel Lozinski and Liz Ludwig.

This will be an open air, Covid friendly event. Please be sure to bring bug spray, closed toe shoes, and long pants.

This free women’s workshop will be held Thursday, June 24 at the Lac qui Parle State Park Headquarters (14047 20th St. NW, Watson, MN) beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Please RSVP by June 8th by calling 320-269-2139 ext 3 or by emailing [email protected]
