The Chippewa SWCD participates in a variety of cost share and grant programs. The SWCD staff works to execute each of these programs according to their policies and workplans. The SWCD Technicians work with local landowners to identify and solve their resource problems by offering landowners up to 75% cost-share funding to establish sound conservation practices that eliminate, or greatly reduce, an erosion or water quality problem.
In an effort to comply with the state’s requirements of providing detailed information regarding the expenditure and outcomes of grant funds as well as ensuring accountability, transparency in the expenditure of state funds, and provide the public with information about the grants that we receive; below are the various grants listed by Fiscal Year in which they were available:
Chippewa Soil And Water Conservation District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
